The town of Rockport, Massachusetts is about 25 miles northeast of Boston on the tip of the Cape Ann peninsula. It is primarily a tourist town – but there still is a lobster fleet that operates out of the harbor at Rockport. These buoys are the tools of their trade along with their boats and lobster pots. Somebody was nice enough to stack all these buoys near the harbor. This picture illustrates a great lesson in photography – if you see something colorful, take a picture of it!
